Dragon Dogma does non allow you to Edit your player character and main pawn more once in your starting time play-through. Dragon Dogma does not allow you to Edit your player character and main pawn more than once in your first play-through. You get access to an item chosen Fine art of Metamorphosis which cost 5000RC. The store has one in inventory and information technology doesn't re-stock it in one case y'all buy it. On 2d playthough, you lot'll exist able to purchase the Secret of Metamorphosis which permit yous unlimited modifications.

 I'm the blazon that will tweak his character throughout a playthrough and I don't similar being express in this manner, and then I came upwards with this work-around and idea I'd share it.

  1. Close Dragon'south Dogma
  2. Detect your DDDA save file at: c:\ ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\userdata\ YOURsteamUSERid \367500\remote\DDDA.sav
  3. Fill-in your salve file.
  4. Unpack DDsavetool.rar somewhere.
  5. Elevate DDDA.sav over DDsavetool.exe. It will create DDDA.sav.xml
  6. Open DDDA.sav.xml in your favorite text editor. I would recommend notepad++ (MS notepad sucks!!)
  7. Call back of item you already take in your inventory. Look up it'south number on this list (in case the link dies, a txt copy of it is available in download). I similar to use Gransys Herb every bit I always have it in my inventory. It'due south code is 1463.
  8. In the xml file, search for: "data.mItemNo" value="CODEofITEMyouCHOOSE" ex. "information.mItemNo" value="1463"
  9. Replace thhe line with "information.mItemNo" value="1635" (that's the code for the Hugger-mugger of Metamorphosis). Relieve.  Take notation of the detail replaced detail number as you will be needing it subsequently.
  10. Delete old DDDA.sav. Drag and drop the edited DDDA.sav.xml over DDsavetool.exe. It volition probably make a DDDA.sav in the aforementioned directory as the relieve tool. Motion it to c:\ ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\userdata\ YOURsteamUSERid \367500\remote.
  11. Start Dragon's Dogma. Load. In your inventory nether other items (the diamond icon), y'all should be able to see the Secret of Metamorphosis. If yous had 11 Gransys herbs, there will be 11 Hush-hush of Metamorphosis instead. Don't worry almost this, it's temporary. Attempt saving the game and exit to chief menu. You should have a character edit option available in the main menu (a couple of entries under load). If information technology'southward yet not there, endeavor reloading the game and try giving the SoM to your pawn. Attempt depositing information technology in your storage. The game won't let you give it but you lot should hither the audio of something leaving your inventory and then coming back. Do a search for"data.mItemNo" value="1635" and replace the 1635 with whatsoever was there earlier (1463 for the gransys herb). Use DDsavetool to repack xml and supersede the modded sav with the one you lot just edited. This volition go rid of the SoM from your inventory.
